The employees of the Widdicomb Bros. & Richards Furniture Factory, the men standing and the boys seated, are gathered in front of the company buildings. The larger building at the left, probably the newest, has large doors on each of three floors to allow removal of stock. A bed headboard stands in the open one, and several bed head and footboards are loaded on a horse-drawn cart. The small building in the center, where a man stands in the doorway, has the name Widdicomb Factory Co. above the door. It was probably one of the original Widdicomb Factory buildings. The lone woman stands in front of the third building at the far right.
