Anna Jesiek's Rocking Chair
Jesiek Brothers - 1910-1920
The rocking arm chair, with an upholstered seat, is constructed of cherry and walnut woods. The beautiful grain of the wood shows in the half-moon shaped top rail with carved edges and the vase shaped splat ending at a curved bottom rail. The arms are gently curved and end in a simple roll. The front legs are a cabriole style without carving, and the side stretchers are slightly curved in the opposite direction of the rockers.
