Fine Arts Building, At Night

Murch Morris - 1928

The night view of the well-lighted Fine Arts Building at the corner of Lyon St. and Campau St. shows it after construction and renovation. A decorative frieze runs around the building at several different levels and just under the roof-line. The sign, inserted in the frieze, on the Campau St. side identifies the building by name. Two different styles of street lights can be seen on either side of the photo. There are overhead lines and tracks in the street for trolley cars. The corner of the building seen at the far left is the rear of the Pantlind Hotel.
