Clinic for Infant Feeding

Twelve women of various ethnic backgrounds, dressed in hats, coats, and dresses, stand on the sidewalk with their young children and infants outside the building at 112 Louis NW with the large sign indicating that it is the "Clinic for Infant Feeding." A nurse dressed in a white uniform and cap stands in the doorway. The two small Japanese-American boys with their mother in the center of the photo are Robert and James Seino Jr., the children of James and Karou Seino. There are five wicker baby carriages lined up on the sidewalk. One woman at the right of the door holds a milk bottle partially in a box attached to the wall., but it is uncertain whether she is supposed to be removing or depositing the bottle. Curtains cover part of the large glass windows fronting on the street.
