Grand Rapids Furniture Industry Map, 1897
This map of Grand Rapids includes the area from Sweet St. in the north to Burton Ave. in the south, and Stocking St. in the west, to Division St. in the east. Furniture factories, related industries, and other buildings that supported the furniture market, such as the Union Depot and Sweets Hotel, are depicted on the map of 1897. Also shown are the trolley lines that serviced the downtown area; Scribner St., Stocking St., W. Bridge St., Shawmut Ave., Butterworth Ave, Grandville Ave., Division St., and Taylor St.
