Waddell Manufacturing Co.
1879 - 1990Manufacturer of wood furniture trim including machine carved and turned moldings, knobs, rosettes, davenport and table feet, victrola legs, and radio grilles for furniture manufacturers and later for the "Do-it-yourself" trade. Because of restrictions on metal manufacturing during World War II, Waddell produced sliding wooden springs modeled after carriage springs, as a substitute for coiled metal springs in upholstered furniture.
