Cabinetmaker from Badendorf, Germany. The only known piece of his work is a faux oak grain painted sewing or work table with turned center pedestal resting on three serpentine scrolled legs. The piece is signed in pencil on the interior, making it the earliest marked piece of Grand Rapids Furniture.
